My name is Cian, and I help people achieve their dream physique without the bullsh*! I started coaching in 2019 because I struggled finding clear advice online and wanted to make a clear path for clients like myself to walk along, as I have in the past struggled with my weight! I quickly found that my clients really struggled with distinguishing between the bullsh*t diets you see online! It’s for that very reason that I started @hq_coaching , so that I could help people:

Since starting, I’ve been lucky enough to help well over 100 Clients! For anyone new around here, you should know one thing! I don’t mince my words and I’ve been known to give some home truths, if you are not pulling your weight you’ll be told to get your finger out Communication is key in the coaching process, we both need to be on the same page! I have been with Cian since August 2021. Even as a Coach myself this is the longest I have gone straight through with training. I have a hectic schedule which always led to me having to take long breaks 1-2 months off training at a time to let my body rest and catch up on life essentially. Cian understands the workload and has ... navigated me through the last 9 months and continues to do so on a weekly basis. The accountability has been second to none. The communication isn’t just weekly on check in's and he is always there on hand if I have any questions. He listened to me in what I wanted from him as my coach and said is how it is. Pushing me each week to be better than the last. I can definitely say I am comfortable in my own skin, especially with holidays coming up. I don’t feel I need to diet or do any crazy amounts of cardio. My Mindset has completely changed. Can't wait to continue working with him to see what limits I can push myself to. I started training with Cian a couple months back, I figured it was time for change and that it would benefit me physically and mentally. Before this I have never stepped foot inside a gym probably because I had no clue what I was doing and I was embarrassingly weak! I messaged him, we met for a coffee and he explained everything in detail.... Being 1-1 and the private gym was a major bonus. I did two sessions a week with him and 2/3 session in the gym on my own but with a well structured workout plan (with videos of exercises) he was tracking my food intake and able to adjust to what needed to be done. (Eat all round me) Move forward to now I am confident to enter a gym and able to mix up my routines as I know more exercises and the correct movements for them! I’m 8kg heavier and healthier then when I started, and enjoying the progression after my holiday I’ll be moving onto online coaching!

I have been training with Cian as my coach for over 7 months now. I initially thought I’d do it for a month or 2 but it soon became something I enjoyed and wanted to make part of my weekly routine. I wanted to learn how to do the basics in the gym and now we have an upcoming photoshoot and powerlifting competition in the pipeline.... I started by wanting to just shed some fat and feel comfortable in my clothes. I went from ending up not going out some nights due to feeling so uncomfortable and insecure in my clothes to now feeling more confident than ever.
